TRUE SPORT LIVES HERE WORKSHOP

True Sport Lives here aims to encourage positive behaviour in junior sporting environments.

If you are a coach, official, administrator, parent o volunteer then this free workshop is for you.

This workshop will cover:

The philosophy behind True Sport Lives Here
What is 'Poor Sport Behaviour'
Implementing True Sport Lives Here in local sports clubs
Participants will receive a free Resource Kit which includes codes of ethics, sample certificates and other great ideas for clubs

North Burleigh farewells great Leaders!

At the AGM held on Sunday 21 June 2009, North Burleigh said good-bye to President, Brian Carroll and Director of Finance, Michael Congram. Both Brian and Michael have served in these positions for the past four seasons and supported by fellow Board members, have taken the Club to new levels of management and professionalism.

We thank them both for all their efforts and wish them the very best for the future.

The Club would like to welcome new Directors to the Club:

Director of Finance - Glenn Wright
Deputy President - Jeffrey Hutchison

We thank all members who have held office positions over the past year and we wish continuing and new office bearers all the best for the forthcoming 2009/2010 Season!
